On the road again....

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates.  It has been difficult to find internet spots, but we are in an internet cafe now so here comes an update!

Weve been hanging around Gabys family house in Italy for the past 3 weeks so we havent really been up to much, just relaxing and the odd day trips to Genoa and Serravalle...We have been quite lucky with the weather (Gaby claims to have a tan but Chris is still pasty!) but the evenings are still very cold.

We set off today for Southern Italy, we are currently in a walled city named Lucca.  Its a really nice, old looking place but unfortanatly it rained today (luck run out!).  We are heading to Rome, stopping at Pisa and anywhere else that takes our fancy!  After Rome we will be stopping at Pompeii and the areas around Vesuvius and then heading to Sicilly and Sardinia.

Hey gang, sorry for the lack of blogging activity recently but it is difficult to find Internet in Italy and to be honest we haven't really been doing much more than lazing around the house. Non stop rain is keeping us from doing any interesting sight seeing but it is nice to have a bed. We will try and update as often as we can!!!

Sickyness!!!

Hey guys...sorry about the lack of blogging recently.  We both managed to catch a cold and have been spending most of our time coughing and sneezing!

After a short stay in snowy Luxembourg (where we caught the cold sleeping in the car) we left for Germany on Wednesday and decided to book a hotel rather than sleeping in the car again.  We stayed in a small village named Bad Wildbad in The Black Forest, unfortunately we didn't get to see much of it because Chris was ill and couldn't get out of bed!  The view from the hotel was stunning though!

After a couple of days rest we set off for Switzerland (Gabys first drive in Europe!!!) where we visited Gabys friend from uni, Janice, who very kindly put us up for a couple of nights).  We enjoyed a nice walk round the town and along the river.  We spent the rest of our time recovering and introducing Janice to some horror movies.

Today we are heading for Italy where will put our feet up for a couple of weeks and visit a few places around the north!!  Sounds pretty good to us!
